Recovered from the roof of an ancient masseria ( farmhouse ) outside Matera - Basilicata, these series of pieces have been treated to recover their insulation properties first, and then beautified with modern style and patterns. From the crudest ones to the most processed, these pieces can be a stunning focal point in any home decor setting. A smaller version of the Matera vase, cleaned and refired. A true statement of the Italian past and its use of ceramics also in architectural projects. The Matera collection can function perfectly in an Ikebana manner.
